As the winter semester 2025/2026 slowly and noticeably drew to a close, the incoming students of the Evangelical University of Applied Sciences Berlin (EHB), together with their dedicated buddies, came together for a warm and cheerful farewell gathering at Café Jenseits in Kreuzberg. In a relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by hot drinks and lively conversations, everyone took the opportunity to reflect on an intense and enriching semester.

The students shared their diverse impressions and personal experiences at EHB and in Berlin – from inspiring seminars and intercultural encounters to memorable moments in everyday student life. They also talked about their plans after returning to their home countries.

The joint exchange highlighted how diverse, international, and connecting the field of social work is – and how much this shared time had shaped everyone both personally and academically. Some of the incoming students were so inspired by EHB, their studies, and the vibrant diversity of Berlin that they decided to start learning German and plan a return to EHB for a Master’s degree.

We look forward to a possible reunion. The International Office wishes all incoming students every success and all the best for their future paths.
