The EHB Library
The University's Central Place of Learning
Research, borrow and work. Our mission is to provide literature for lecturers and students as well as help with literature research. Welcome to the library of the EHB.
Please register if you would like to use the library, its media resources and borrow items. You can get the application form for this at the library's information desk which you can also hand in there or you can fill out the online form. To collect your library card, please bring your identity card, student card and some time with you.
All members and former members of the EHB (students, lecturers and staff), students of other universities in Berlin and Brandenburg and, in individual cases, certain other individuals are entitled to apply.
You are looking for information on a specific topic. In your research work, you mainly read academic journal articles, essays and monographs (books/e-books). You can find references to these documents within the research tools provided by the library.
All media in the EHB library are listed in the library catalogue (OPAC) and through this system you can search for individual resources. Once you have found an item, check the loan status and note the shelf mark. The shelf mark serves as an indication of the location of the resource within the library.
Searching for journal articles in the OPAC will only lead to limited successful results. You should also search our databases.
